I want to transfer my database license to another PC, what do I have to consider?

Check hereto see if your database version is still supported for new installations. As long as the previous PC is still available, you can release the license at the manufacturer Actian with our support and then activate the license on another PC. If the PC is no longer accessible, we can apply for a release from Actian using the database license (please send). If you do not have the license at hand, please ask us for an internal research to find the license and then release it.

On my server an error message appears in connection with DB Access Remote Request?

The database is started as a service. The network is then connected by default. In individual cases this may not yet have been done.

Customize your server so that your network is available when Windows starts the database.
Alternative: Delay the start of the database. (Example of a registry intervention for IT experts, not universally valid, if necessary adjust this accordingly: Open the Windows registry: Start -> Run -> regedit.exe. File -> Export -> Create backup of the current registry. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ <Servicename>. To increase the default delay of 120 seconds, right-click the registry key and add the new AutoStartDelay (DWORD (32-bit)) key. Set AutoStartDelay in milliseconds (decimal). EG 240000 is 240 seconds. If this is not successful, apply the solution under 1. on.
